Anti Wrinkle
Injections
Anti-wrinkle injection helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the forehead, around the eyes and mouth, and other areas of the face, leaving you with a smoother, more youthful-looking complexion.

Anti-wrinkle injections focus on the facial muscles that create wrinkles and expression lines, like those responsible for forehead lines and crow's feet.
How Anti-Wrinkle Injections Work ?
The treatment reduces muscle activity in specific areas, preventing wrinkles from becoming more pronounced and allowing the skin to appear smoother and firmer.
This process blocks nerve signals to the muscles, providing immediate results and promoting long-term improvements in the skin’s appearance, helping to achieve a refreshed and youthful look.
What Areas Can Be Treated?
Anti-wrinkle/muscle relaxing injections is a versatile treatment that can address a wide range of aesthetic and medical concerns.
Common areas treated include:
Forehead Lines – Smoothens horizontal lines across the forehead, often caused by raising the eyebrows.
Crow's Feet – Reduces the appearance of fine lines around the eyes, typically formed from smiling or squinting.
Frown Lines (Glabellar Lines) – Targets the vertical lines between the eyebrows, known as "11 lines," caused by frowning or concentrating.
Bunny Lines – Treats the lines on the sides of the nose, visible when scrunching the nose.
Eyebrow Lift – Lifts and shapes the eyebrows, creating a more youthful, refreshed appearance.
Smile Lines (Marionette Lines) – Softens the lines around the mouth, reducing the appearance of sagging.
Neck Bands – Reduces the visible bands or wrinkles in the neck, commonly referred to as "turkey neck."
Chin – Smooths "dimpled" or "orange peel" texture on the chin, often called "chin dimpling."
Jawline Slimming – Botox relaxes the masseter muscles to create a more sculpted, slimmer jawline.
Excessive Sweating (Hyperhidrosis) – Injected into areas like the underarms, hands, feet, or face to reduce excessive sweating.
Calves – Botox can slim the calves by relaxing the calf muscles, creating a more contoured leg shape.
Shoulders – Botox can be injected into the shoulders to reduce muscle tension, providing relief from discomfort and improving the appearance of the shoulder area.
How Long Does It Take?
Anti-wrinkle injection treatment typically takes less than 10 minutes to administer, making it an effective treatment option for those seeking quick and convenient wrinkle reduction.
How Long Do Results Last?
The results from anti-wrinkle injections typically last up to six months, depending on the individual and the area treated. For most patients, a follow-up appointment every few months is recommended to maintain the results. Regular treatments can also prevent the formation of deeper lines over time by limiting repetitive muscle movements.
Recovery Period
One of the benefits of anti-wrinkle injections is that there is minimal downtime. Patients can usually return to their activities immediately following the procedure, although it is advisable to avoid exercising and sun exposure for a short period after the treatment to ensure optimal results.
Aftercare Instructions
To ensure the best results from your anti-wrinkle injection treatment, follow these aftercare instructions:
• It is advisable not to lie down for 3-4 hours after the procedure to avoid affecting the injection site.
• Swelling, bruising, and slight itching in the injection area are natural and will disappear over time.
• Avoid massaging the treated area, using a sauna, or engaging in strenuous physical activity for a few days following treatment.
• Protect the treated area from excessive sun exposure to maintain your results.
• Refrain from consuming alcohol and blood thinners for a few days to reduce the risk of bruising.

The staff was welcoming, and the therapist was knowledgeable and attentive. The clinic is clean and modern, and I am very pleased with my treatment results. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience here at Dr Jinah Yoo! I had the ‘brightening’ treatment after having too much sunburn on my summer vacation and it really helped. The process was very enjoyable thanks to the skillful and gentle practitioner. I will come back in the future if I have any needs for skin improvements!
A perfect experience! I had the rf facial which is for lift up. The therapist is very professional and the environment is also very helpful for relaxing. Nice location as well.
Absolutely love the place. Had some moles removed from my face by Dr Yoo. A week later there is not the slightest indication that there was ever even anything there. Results are incredible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Anti-Wrinkle Injection FAQ’s
What’s the difference between anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers?
While both treatments aim to reduce the signs of ageing, anti-wrinkle injections work by relaxing targeted muscles, reducing dynamic wrinkles caused by facial expressions.
In contrast, dermal fillers are used to restore volume and smooth static wrinkles, which form due to a loss of collagen and elasticity in the skin.
Can anti-wrinkle injections treat all types of wrinkles?
Anti-wrinkle injections are most effective for treating dynamic wrinkles, such as frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles caused by repeated facial movements. However, deeper lines and static wrinkles may require additional treatments, like facial fillers, to restore lost volume.
Is the procedure painful?
This procedure involves the use of a fine needle, so most patients experience only mild discomfort during the treatment. Any bruising or swelling is typically minimal and subsides quickly.
How soon will I see results?
Results will usually appear within a few days, with full effects visible in about two weeks. The improvement in skin smoothness and wrinkle reduction will become more noticeable as the treated muscles relax.
How much do anti-wrinkle injections cost?
The cost of anti-wrinkle injections varies depending on the treatment area, the number of units required, and the specific needs of each patient. During your consultation, we will provide a detailed breakdown of the anti-wrinkle injections cost and help you determine the most effective treatment plan to meet your aesthetic goals.
Are anti-wrinkle injections safe?
When administered by a qualified medical practitioner, anti-wrinkle injections are safe and effective treatment.
Side effects are generally minimal and short-lasting, with possible mild bruising, swelling, or redness at the injection site.
During your consultation, your cosmetic doctor will review your medical history to ensure patient safety.
Are anti-wrinkle injections part of a broader anti-ageing treatment plan?
Anti-wrinkle injections can be part of a comprehensive anti-ageing treatment plan that may include other injectable treatments like dermal fillers and facial contouring procedures.
Together, these treatments help address various signs of ageing, from wrinkles to volume loss, resulting in a more youthful, rejuvenated appearance.
What makes anti-wrinkle injections different from other anti-ageing treatments?
Anti-wrinkle injections specifically target dynamic wrinkles caused by muscle movements. In contrast, other anti-ageing treatments focus on static wrinkles and skin texture.
Combining these anti-ageing injections with other treatments offers a more comprehensive approach to reversing the signs of ageing.
Can anti-wrinkle injections be combined with other cosmetic treatments?
Anti-wrinkle injections can be combined with other treatments, such as dermal fillers to create a comprehensive anti-ageing plan. This combination helps treat both dynamic and static wrinkles, providing a balanced and rejuvenated appearance.
