Skin Boosters

Skin boosters are injectable treatments that deliver targeted nutrients, hydration, and active substances directly into the skin to address specific concerns — from rosacea and melasma to acne scarring, enlarged pores, and excess oil production.

These treatments work by delivering a combination of nutrients, hydration, and targeted active ingredients into the skin to address specific dermatological concerns, including rosacea, melasma, pigmentation, acne scarring, enlarged pores, and sebum overproduction.

Types of Skin Boosters

There are various types of skin boosters, each tailored to address specific concerns and offer different benefits.

At Dr Jinah Yoo Regenerative Centre, we offer a range of skin booster treatments, including NCTF, Hyaluronic Acid (HA), Juvelook, Rejuran, Skin Botox, Dr Jinah Yoo Bespoke Combined Skin Booster, Exosomes, Growth Factors, and Peptides.

Below is a breakdown of each type:

1. NCTF (New Cellular Treatment Factor)

NCTF is a multi-nutrient skin booster containing a blend of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, coenzymes, and nucleic acids. It works by supporting cellular function and improving the skin's internal environment — helping to correct uneven pigmentation, dullness, and blotchy skin tone over a course of treatments. NCTF is particularly effective for patients with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation or persistent uneven complexion that does not respond fully to topical treatments.

Benefits:

  • Corrects uneven skin tone and surface pigmentation
  • Reduces post-inflammatory discolouration
  • Improves skin clarity and radiance
  • Restores hydration to dull, congested skin

2. Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring molecule with a high capacity to retain moisture within the skin. HA skin boosters are used to restore deep hydration in dehydrated, barrier-compromised, or sensitive skin — improving skin comfort, reducing surface dryness, and supporting the skin's ability to function as a healthy protective barrier. HA is often used as part of a broader treatment plan for patients with reactive or sensitised skin.

Benefits:

  • Restores deep hydration in dehydrated skin
  • Supports a compromised or sensitive skin barrier
  • Reduces surface dryness and tightness
  • Improves skin comfort in reactive skin types

3. Juvelook

Juvelook combines hyaluronic acid with polynucleotides (PN) — a substance that supports cellular repair and tissue regeneration from within. It is particularly well-suited for patients with acne scarring, enlarged or congested pores, and uneven skin texture caused by previous breakouts. By stimulating the skin's natural repair mechanisms at a dermal level, Juvelook helps to gradually smooth scar depressions, refine pore appearance, and restore a more even skin surface over a course of sessions.

Benefits:

  • Improves skin elasticity and firmness
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
  • Hydrates and refreshes tired skin
  • Boosts collagen and skin regeneration

4. Rejuran

Rejuran contains polynucleotides (PN) derived from salmon DNA, which have been shown in clinical studies to reduce inflammation, calm sensitised skin, and support the skin's own healing processes. It is particularly effective for patients with rosacea — reducing persistent redness, flushing, and vascular sensitivity — as well as those with melasma and reactive skin that struggles to tolerate stronger treatments. Rejuran strengthens the skin from within, making it more resilient to triggers and environmental stressors over time.

Benefits:

  • Improves skin elasticity and texture
  • Reduces acne scars and pigmentation
  • Boosts collagen production
  • Enhances skin repair and regeneration

5. Skin Botox

Skin Botox — also known as mesobotox — involves microinjections of highly diluted botulinum toxin into the superficial layers of the skin. Unlike conventional botulinum toxin used for muscle relaxation, skin botox targets the skin's surface directly. It is clinically effective for reducing excessive sebum production in oily and acne-prone skin, and for calming the vascular flushing and diffuse redness characteristic of rosacea. The treatment significantly reduces pore visibility in oily skin and decreases the frequency and intensity of rosacea flare-ups.

Benefits:

  • Smooths out fine lines and wrinkles
  • Tightens and refreshes the skin
  • Reduces pore size
  • Improves skin texture and tone

6. Dr Jinah Yoo Bespoke Combined Skin Booster

Dr Jinah Yoo's Bespoke Combined Skin Booster is a tailor-made treatment that combines different skin-rejuvenating substances like HA, Rejuran, and growth factors to address individual skin needs. The combination treatment is designed to provide a comprehensive solution for skin hydration, and overall rejuvenation. The approach is customised to target your specific skin concerns, offering a more holistic approach to skincare.

Benefits:

  • Highly customised to individual needs
  • Combines multiple skin-rejuvenating ingredients
  • Hydrates and improves skin elasticity
  • Provides a comprehensive medical and procedural dermatology

7. Exosome Therapy

Exosomes are tiny particles that help transmit cellular signals between cells, playing a vital role in tissue repair and regeneration. Exosome therapy helps to accelerate the healing process, improve skin texture, and promote collagen production. It’s often used to enhance other treatments, such as microneedling, by delivering regenerative signals to the skin, leading to enhanced rejuvenation.

Benefits:

  • Accelerates skin regeneration
  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production
  • Reduces inflammation and promotes healing
  • Ideal for treating skin texture and acne scars

8. Growth Factors

Growth factors are proteins that naturally occur in the body and play a crucial role in cell growth, repair, and regeneration. In skin boosters, growth factors are used to stimulate collagen and elastin production, improving skin thickness and reducing the appearance of fine lines. They are often combined with other ingredients like HA or Rejuran for enhanced rejuvenation.

Benefits:

  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production
  • Enhances skin regeneration and repair
  • Improves skin elasticity and texture
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles

9. Peptides

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that can stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining youthful, firm skin. Peptide-based skin boosters help to repair damaged skin and reduce the visible signs of medical and procedural dermatology, like fine lines and sagging skin.

Benefits:

  • Improves skin elasticity and firmness
  • Promotes collagen and elastin production
  • Helps repair damaged skin
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and sagging

I had a great experience here at Dr Jinah Yoo! I had the ‘brightening’ treatment after having too much sunburn on my summer vacation, and it really helped. The process was very enjoyable thanks to the skillful and gentle practitioner. I will come back in the future if I have any needs for skin improvements!

Absolutely love the place. Had some moles removed from my face by Dr Yoo. A week later there is not the slightest indication that there was ever even anything there. Results are incredible.
