Hormone Test
Hormonal imbalances can silently affect your mood, weight, energy, skin and overall vitality. Advanced hormone testing provides a comprehensive picture of your hormonal health, enabling a personalised treatment plan to restore balance and optimise your wellbeing from within.

What it is
Your hormonal blueprint.
A hormone test is a precise diagnostic tool that analyses your body's key hormonal levels, including oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, thyroid hormones and DHEA.
At Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic we use advanced blood and saliva panel testing to identify imbalances that may be contributing to fatigue, weight gain, mood changes, poor sleep, skin issues and reduced libido. Understanding your unique hormonal blueprint is the foundation of truly personalised regenerative care.
Where a daily pattern matters, hormonal changes can be monitored across the course of a day rather than taken as a spot test at one point in time.
Benefits of hormone testing
What the data changes.
Identifies the cause of symptoms
Testing goes beyond surface-level symptoms to reveal the underlying imbalances driving fatigue, brain fog, weight fluctuations and mood instability.
Supports healthy skin and hair
Hormonal fluctuations are a leading cause of acne, hair thinning and premature ageing. Testing enables targeted interventions to restore skin clarity and hair vitality.
Optimises metabolism and weight
Imbalances in thyroid and adrenal hormones can significantly impair metabolism. Testing pinpoints these issues to support effective, sustainable weight management.
Improves energy, sleep and clarity
Correcting cortisol and melatonin imbalances through data-led treatment restores energy cycles, deepens sleep quality and enhances cognitive function.
Supports reproductive and sexual health
Assessing oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone levels helps address issues related to fertility, libido, PMS, perimenopause and menopause management.
Enables personalised treatment
Results guide a bespoke approach: bio-identical hormone therapy, nutrition, supplementation or regenerative treatments, unique to your biology.
“Results are interpreted in full clinical context, not simply flagged as in or out of range.”
Hormone testing and longevity
Balance is tied to ageing.
Hormonal balance is intrinsically linked to the ageing process and long-term vitality. At Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic we view hormone testing as a cornerstone of our regenerative longevity programme.
Falling levels of oestrogen, testosterone, DHEA and growth hormone are directly associated with accelerated cellular ageing, reduced bone density, cognitive decline and diminished physical performance.
By monitoring and optimising your hormonal profile, we can meaningfully slow the biological ageing process and support your body's natural regenerative capacity.
Enhanced quality of life: helping you look, feel and function at your very best.

Questions

A gut microbiome test analyses the full composition of microorganisms living in your digestive system, including bacteria, fungi, parasites, and other microbes. It maps bacterial diversity, identifies beneficial and harmful species, measures inflammation and intestinal permeability markers, assesses short-chain fatty acid production, and evaluates how your microbiome is influencing your immune function, metabolism, skin health, and energy levels.
The test is stool-based and entirely non-invasive. After your initial consultation, you receive a discreet at-home collection kit. A small sample is taken at home at your convenience and returned to the accredited laboratory via a prepaid, temperature-controlled courier. No clinical procedure or clinic visit is required for the sample collection itself.
The test is particularly recommended if you experience persistent bloating, IBS, or irregular digestion; chronic fatigue or low energy with no clear cause; recurring skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, or eczema; frequent illness or poor immune resilience; low mood, brain fog, or poor concentration; unexplained weight gain or difficulty managing weight; or if you are looking to establish a detailed health and longevity baseline.
Yes, the gut microbiome test is equally suitable for men and women. Microbiome imbalance affects both sexes and has been linked to a wide range of concerns in men including fatigue, metabolic dysfunction, low testosterone, poor sports recovery, digestive issues, and skin conditions. Dr Yoo will tailor the interpretation and restoration plan to your individual health profile regardless of sex.
Results are typically available within 2–3 weeks of the laboratory receiving your sample. Once your report is ready, a follow-up consultation with Dr Yoo is scheduled to review your findings in detail, discuss what they mean for your specific health concerns, and present your personalised microbiome restoration plan.
Yes. Specific gut bacterial profiles have a direct influence on how efficiently the body extracts calories from food, stores fat, and regulates appetite hormones such as ghrelin and leptin. The test can identify microbial patterns that are contributing to weight management difficulty, and the personalised plan that follows (including dietary adjustments, targeted probiotics, and complementary treatments such as bespoke IV drips or NAD+ therapy) can support more effective and sustainable weight management.
