This non-invasive treatment uses advanced CellAir technology from CellGym to alternate oxygen deprivation (hypoxia) and enrichment (hyperoxia), stimulating the body’s natural repair processes and improving resilience.

How It Works

Hypoxic Phase: Reduces oxygen intake, mimicking high-altitude conditions to challenge cells and promote adaptation.

Hyperoxic Phase: Boosts oxygen intake, accelerating cellular repair and energy production.

Benefits

  • Enhances mitochondrial function, supporting energy and stamina.
  • Stimulates cellular repair and detoxification.
  • Reduces oxidative stress and inflammation.
  • Improves cardiovascular performance and recovery.

Why Choose IHHT at Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic?

At Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic, we combine IHHT with personalised wellness programmes, ensuring safe, tailored treatments using advanced CellAir technology, administered by expert professionals.

I had a great experience here at Dr Jinah Yoo! I had the ‘brightening’ treatment after having too much sunburn on my summer vacation and it really helped. The process was very enjoyable thanks to the skillful and gentle practitioner. I will come back in the future if I have any needs for skin improvements!

Absolutely love the place. Had some moles removed from my face by Dr Yoo. A week later there is not the slightest indication that there was ever even anything there. Results are incredible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Intermittent Hypoxic-Hyperoxic Training FAQ’s

Yes, but we recommend a consultation to tailor the treatment to your health.

Typically 40–60 minutes, with no downtime.

Many clients report improved energy and vitality after a few sessions.

Intermittent hypoxic training mimics high-altitude conditions, exposing the body to periods of reduced oxygen (hypoxia) followed by enriched oxygen (hyperoxia). The human body consists of complex adaptive systems that respond to these changes by stimulating cellular repair, faster cell regeneration protection, and enhanced energy production, helping the body adapt and improve resilience over time.

Yes, IHHT has been shown to enhance cognitive function by promoting better oxygen utilisation in the brain during the hyperoxic phase. This helps improve mental clarity, focus, and overall brain performance while reducing oxidative stress that can impair cognitive health.

During the hypoxic phase of IHHT, the body stimulates the production of red blood cells to enhance oxygen delivery to tissues. This natural adaptation improves oxygen transport efficiency, contributing to better stamina, energy, and overall vitality.

Breathing hypoxic air during the treatment challenges the body to adapt to lower oxygen levels, activating metabolic processes that promote energy efficiency and cellular repair. This phase prepares the body to respond more effectively to stress and enhances its overall performance.

Yes, IHHT can help regulate blood pressure by improving cardiovascular function and oxygen utilisation. The therapy enhances vascular elasticity and circulation, which can contribute to better blood pressure management over time.

Intermittent hypoxia therapy boosts cellular repair mechanisms and reduces inflammation, making it an effective recovery method. By alternating hypoxia and hyperoxia, this therapy supports faster regeneration and helps the body utilise energy more efficiently.
