Oligoscan
These tests are developed after a detailed assessment of your body's mineral and heavy metal levels to ensure optimal cellular function and wellbeing. Our expert clinicians will analyse your results and design a plan that supports your personal goals, such as longevity, enhanced performance, detoxification, or improved energy levels.

At Dr Jinah Yoo Anti-Ageing, we offer OligoScan testing tailored to your unique mineral health and detoxification needs.
OLIGOSCAN TESTS WE OFFER:
Mineral Deficiency Analysis: A comprehensive assessment of 20 essential minerals within your body's tissues — including magnesium, zinc, selenium, and calcium — identifying deficiencies that may be contributing to fatigue, poor immunity, hormonal imbalance, or impaired cellular function.
Heavy Metal Toxicity Screening:Measures the presence and concentration of 14 toxic heavy metals — including mercury, lead, arsenic, and cadmium — that accumulate silently in tissues over time and are linked to chronic inflammation, neurological decline, and metabolic disruption.
Oxidative Stress Assessment:Evaluates key markers of oxidative stress within your tissues, identifying cellular damage caused by free radicals and environmental toxins, and informing a targeted antioxidant and detoxification protocol.
Full Mineral & Toxicity Profile: A combined assessment covering minerals, heavy metals, and oxidative stress markers in a single, non-invasive test — providing the most complete picture of your internal biochemical environment.
Ongoing Monitoring Protocol: A structured follow-up testing programme to track your body's response to treatment, monitor detoxification progress, and ensure your mineral levels are consistently optimized over time.
Each test is interpreted by our clinical team with your long-term health in mind, combining cutting-edge spectrophotometry with a personalised approach to help you achieve your goals.
SUPPLEMENT AND IV DRIP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR OPTIMAL RESULTS
In addition to your OligoScan results, we can recommend personalised supplements or bespoke IV drips to address any mineral deficiencies or heavy metal toxicities identified during your assessment. These targeted interventions can help optimise your mineral balance, support your body's natural detoxification pathways, enhance immune function, and restore cellular energy by delivering essential micronutrients directly into the bloodstream or supplementing your diet. Our expert team ensures that your supplement or IV plan complements your OligoScan results for a truly holistic approach to biochemical wellbeing.

The staff was welcoming, and the therapist was knowledgeable and attentive. The clinic is clean and modern, and I am very pleased with my treatment results. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience here at Dr Jinah Yoo! I had the ‘brightening’ treatment after having too much sunburn on my summer vacation and it really helped. The process was very enjoyable thanks to the skillful and gentle practitioner. I will come back in the future if I have any needs for skin improvements!
A perfect experience! I had the rf facial which is for lift up. The therapist is very professional and the environment is also very helpful for relaxing. Nice location as well.
Absolutely love the place. Had some moles removed from my face by Dr Yoo. A week later there is not the slightest indication that there was ever even anything there. Results are incredible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
OLIGOSCAN FAQ'S
How does OligoScan work?
OligoScan uses advanced spectrophotometry technology to measure the concentration of minerals and heavy metals directly within your body's tissues via a painless scan of the palm of your hand. Unlike blood or urine tests, OligoScan measures what is actually present within the cells — providing a far more accurate and clinically meaningful picture of your internal biochemical environment. Results are available immediately during your appointment.
Is the OligoScan test painful or invasive?
Not at all. The OligoScan is entirely non-invasive and painless. A small device is placed against the palm of your hand and emits light at specific wavelengths. The device measures how different minerals and metals absorb this light within your tissues, generating instant, accurate results with no needles, no blood draw, and no recovery time required.
How soon will I see results after treatment?
Results from the OligoScan test are immediate — you will receive your full mineral and heavy metal profile during your appointment. In terms of clinical improvements following your personalised treatment protocol, many clients report noticeable changes in energy, mental clarity, and overall wellbeing within two to four weeks of commencing supplementation or IV therapy.
How is OligoScan different from a standard blood test?
Standard blood tests measure circulating levels of minerals in the bloodstream, which reflect only what is currently in transit. OligoScan measures mineral concentrations within the tissues themselves — where minerals are actually stored and utilised. This means it can identify deficiencies and toxicities that blood tests frequently miss, making it a significantly more comprehensive and clinically actionable diagnostic tool.
What happens after my OligoScan results?
Following your test, one of our clinicians will conduct a detailed review of your results and design a bespoke treatment plan to address any imbalances identified. This may include personalised nutritional supplementation, targeted IV micronutrient therapy, a detoxification protocol, or dietary recommendations — all tailored specifically to your OligoScan profile and wider health goals.
