Excel V+
The Excel V+ is an advanced dual-wavelength vascular and pigment laser featuring 532nm KTP and 1064nm Nd:YAG technology. Clinically proven to treat vascular conditions including rosacea, facial redness, spider veins, and broken capillaries, it also addresses pigmented lesions and uneven skin tone. Its precise targeting and real-time cooling system make it one of the most versatile and comfortable vascular lasers available.

Excel V+ is a clinically proven dual-wavelength laser that precisely targets both vascular and pigment concerns — delivering clearer, more even skin with minimal discomfort and no downtime.
HOW EXCEL V+ WORKS
Excel V+ uses two precisely calibrated laser wavelengths — 532nm KTP and 1064nm Nd:YAG — that can be used independently or in combination, depending on the concern being treated. Each wavelength is selectively absorbed by specific chromophores in the skin: the 532nm targets superficial blood vessels and melanin near the surface, while the deeper-penetrating 1064nm reaches larger vessels and darker or deeper pigmentation. An integrated real-time cooling system protects the skin surface throughout treatment, ensuring comfort and reducing the risk of epidermal damage. The result is targeted, controlled treatment across a wide range of vascular and pigment conditions — with precision that surface-level treatments simply cannot achieve.
EXCEL V+ TREATMENT BENEFITS
Rosacea & Facial Redness
Excel V+ selectively targets the dilated blood vessels responsible for persistent facial redness, reducing the characteristic flushing and visible capillaries associated with rosacea — without affecting the surrounding skin.
Broken Capillaries
Precisely coagulates broken capillaries and areas of diffuse redness on the face, nose, and cheeks, delivering a clearer and more even complexion after a course of treatments.
Spider Veins & Leg Veins
The 1064nm wavelength effectively treats spider veins and reticular veins on the legs, heating vessel walls to collapse and progressively fade them over successive sessions.
Pigmented Lesions & Sun Spots
Sun spots, age spots, freckles, and benign pigmented lesions respond well to the 532nm wavelength, which targets excess melanin and breaks it down for natural elimination by the body.
Uneven Skin Tone
By addressing both the vascular and pigment components of an uneven complexion, Excel V+ improves overall clarity and tone in patients with mixed-cause discolouration.
Targeted Precision with Comfort
The integrated real-time cooling system continuously protects the skin surface during treatment — minimising discomfort, reducing the risk of epidermal damage, and making treatment well tolerated even in sensitive areas.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Excel V+ FAQ's
What is the Excel V+ laser?
Excel V+ is an advanced dual-wavelength laser platform using 532nm KTP and 1064nm Nd:YAG technology. It is clinically proven to treat a wide range of vascular conditions — including rosacea, facial redness, spider veins, and broken capillaries — as well as pigmented lesions and uneven skin tone.
How does Excel V+ treat rosacea?
Excel V+ targets the dilated, overactive blood vessels beneath the skin surface that cause the persistent redness and visible capillaries characteristic of rosacea. The laser energy heats and collapses these vessels, which are then naturally reabsorbed by the body — reducing redness progressively over a course of treatments.
Is Excel V+ safe for all skin types?
The 1064nm Nd:YAG wavelength is well suited to all skin types including darker tones, as it is less readily absorbed by surface melanin. Treatment parameters are carefully adjusted by our clinical team for each individual's skin type to ensure both safety and optimal results.
How many sessions will I need? How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on the condition being treated and its severity. Most vascular concerns require 2–4 sessions. Pigmented lesions and rosacea may respond in 1–3 sessions. Dr Yoo's team will advise on a personalised plan during your consultation.
Is there downtime after Excel V+ treatment?
Downtime is minimal. Most patients experience mild redness and slight swelling that resolves within a few hours to 24 hours. Treated pigmented lesions may darken briefly before naturally flaking off. Most patients return to normal activities the same day.
When will I see results?
Vascular lesions often show visible improvement within 2–3 weeks as the body reabsorbs treated vessels. Pigmented lesions typically fade over 2–4 weeks following treatment. Results continue to improve with subsequent sessions as the skin clears progressively.
Who is a good candidate for Excel V+?
Excel V+ is suitable for individuals with rosacea, facial redness, broken capillaries, spider veins, sun spots, age spots, or uneven skin tone. It is appropriate for most skin types. A consultation with Dr Yoo's team is recommended to assess your suitability and design the right treatment plan.
