Dr Jinah Yoo Hair Programme
At Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic, we specialise in the clinical assessment and treatment of hair loss, offering a medically led programme designed to restore hair follicle function, improve scalp health, and support measurable hair regrowth.

Our advanced Hair Programme combines clinically validated technologies and regenerative techniques to address the underlying causes of hair loss and support follicular restoration.
Our Comprehensive Approach
1. Aquascalp treatment
The programme begins with a targeted aquascalp treatment to remove sebum, follicular debris, and scalp buildup. This prepares the scalp environment by clearing the infundibulum of each follicular unit, optimising conditions for subsequent therapeutic intervention and ensuring unimpeded delivery of active agents to the follicular dermis.
2. Mesotherapy with Polynucleotides and Exosomes
Using controlled micro-needling, bioactive compounds — including polynucleotides and exosomes — are delivered directly into the scalp at the level of the dermal papilla. Polynucleotides act as DNA repair agents and anti-inflammatory mediators, supporting tissue regeneration and improving microcirculation. Exosomes carry growth factors and signalling proteins that activate dormant follicles, reduce perifollicular inflammation, and initiate the anagen (growth) phase in affected follicular units.
3. Celphius Technology
The Celphius device uses controlled energy-based penetration to enhance transdermal delivery of active compounds into the scalp. This ensures that therapeutic agents reach the target depth of the follicular unit with maximum precision and bioavailability, improving the clinical efficacy of each treatment session.
4. Hairgene LED Therapy
The programme concludes with Hairgene LED photobiomodulation therapy. Specific wavelengths of light are applied to the scalp to reduce perifollicular inflammation, improve follicular oxygenation, and stimulate mitochondrial activity within follicular cells — supporting the transition from telogen (resting) to anagen phase and promoting sustained follicular activity.
Advanced Regenerative Hair Treatments
For patients with more advanced or complex hair loss, we offer regenerative therapies that utilise the body’s own biological mechanisms to support follicular repair and restoration.
Autologous Exosome Therapy
Exosomes are extracellular vesicles derived from the patient’s own blood, concentrated with growth factors, cytokines, and signalling proteins that regulate cellular repair and regeneration.
In the context of hair loss, autologous exosomes function by:
- Reactivating follicular stem cells and stimulating anagen re-entry in telogen-phase follicles
- Reducing perifollicular inflammation, a key driver of progressive follicular miniaturisation
- Promoting dermal papilla cell proliferation and improving scalp microvascular supply
Fibroblast Cell Therapy
A small skin biopsy containing hair follicles is taken to extract autologous fibroblasts — connective tissue cells that produce collagen, extracellular matrix proteins, and essential paracrine growth signals.
In hair loss treatment, fibroblasts contribute by:
- Restoring the structural integrity of the perifollicular dermis and supporting follicular anchorage
- Reactivating follicular units with reduced activity through direct paracrine signalling
- Creating a regenerative scalp microenvironment conducive to sustained follicular cycling
By harnessing the patient’s own regenerative biology, these treatments offer a scientifically grounded approach to hair follicle restoration with durable, clinically measurable outcomes.
Why Choose Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic?
At Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic, we take a clinical, evidence-based approach to hair loss — recognising it as a medical condition requiring accurate diagnosis, personalised treatment, and ongoing management.
Here’s why clients trust our hair program:
Expertise in Regenerative Medicine:
As one of the UK's leading clinics for hair loss treatment, we specialise in advanced regenerative therapies that address the biological mechanisms underlying follicular miniaturisation, telogen effluvium, androgenetic alopecia, and scalp inflammation.
Comprehensive Programs:
Each patient undergoes a thorough clinical assessment before treatment begins. The programme is tailored to the individual's diagnosis, hair loss pattern, and medical history, ensuring treatment is both appropriate and effective.
Non-Surgical and Minimally Invasive Options:
Our programme focuses on non-surgical interventions, providing clinically effective alternatives to hair transplant surgery for patients with early to moderate hair loss — with no surgical downtime or associated risks.
State-of-the-Art Technology:
The devices and techniques used in the DJY Hair Programme are selected on the basis of clinical evidence, ensuring each treatment modality contributes meaningfully to follicular restoration and scalp health.
Patient-Centred Approach:
Every treatment plan is developed around the patient's specific diagnosis and goals. Dr Jinah Yoo and her team take a rigorous, individualised approach — not a one-size-fits-all protocol — to maximise clinical outcomes at every stage of the programme.

The staff was welcoming, and the therapist was knowledgeable and attentive. The clinic is clean and modern, and I am very pleased with my treatment results. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience here at Dr Jinah Yoo! I had the ‘brightening’ treatment after having too much sunburn on my summer vacation and it really helped. The process was very enjoyable thanks to the skillful and gentle practitioner. I will come back in the future if I have any needs for skin improvements!
A perfect experience! I had the rf facial which is for lift up. The therapist is very professional and the environment is also very helpful for relaxing. Nice location as well.
Absolutely love the place. Had some moles removed from my face by Dr Yoo. A week later there is not the slightest indication that there was ever even anything there. Results are incredible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Dr Jinah Yoo Hair Programme FAQ’s
How long does it take to see results from the Hair Programme?
Results vary depending on the diagnosis, the extent of follicular miniaturisation, and the duration of hair loss prior to treatment. Most patients begin to observe measurable improvements in scalp condition and hair density within 2–3 months of commencing treatment, with more substantial follicular restoration typically occurring over a 4–6 month treatment course.
Is the treatment suitable for all hair types?
The DJY Hair Programme is designed to address a range of hair loss conditions, including androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, and hormonally driven hair loss in both men and women. A clinical assessment during your consultation will determine the most appropriate treatment protocol for your specific diagnosis.
Are the treatments painful?
The treatments within the DJY Hair Programme are minimally invasive and designed to be well-tolerated. Mesotherapy involves micro-needling to the scalp, which may cause mild transient discomfort. All procedures are carried out with patient comfort and clinical safety as the primary considerations.
What makes regenerative hair treatments effective?
Regenerative treatments — including mesotherapy with polynucleotides, exosome therapy, and fibroblast cell therapy — deliver bioactive compounds and growth factors directly to the follicular unit. These agents address the pathological processes underlying hair loss at a cellular level, reducing perifollicular inflammation, reactivating dormant follicles, and supporting the dermal microenvironment required for sustained follicular cycling.
Can the Hair Programme replace surgical hair transplantation?
For patients with early to moderate hair loss, the DJY Hair Programme offers an effective non-surgical approach to follicular restoration. Whether it is a suitable alternative to surgical intervention depends on the individual's diagnosis, degree of hair loss, and clinical history, and will be discussed in full during your consultation.
Can the programme address hormonally driven hair loss?
Yes. The programme is effective for hair loss with a hormonal component, including androgenetic alopecia and postpartum or perimenopausal telogen effluvium. Where indicated, clinician-prescribed topical or oral therapies may be incorporated into the treatment plan to address the underlying hormonal drivers alongside in-clinic treatment.
Is there any downtime after treatments?
No. All treatments within the DJY Hair Programme are non-surgical and require no recovery period. Patients can return to their normal daily activities immediately following each session.
Can men be treated with the Hair Programme?
Yes. The programme is equally appropriate for male patients and is clinically effective for androgenetic alopecia and other forms of hair loss commonly presenting in men. Treatment protocols are adapted to reflect male-specific hair loss patterns and progression.
Are the results permanent?
The durability of outcomes depends on the underlying cause of hair loss, the individual's response to treatment, and whether ongoing maintenance is undertaken. Hair loss is often a progressive condition, and a maintenance protocol following the initial treatment course is commonly recommended to sustain follicular health over time.
What distinguishes Dr Jinah Yoo Clinic from other hair loss clinics?
The DJY Hair Programme is led by a GMC-registered Consultant Dermatologist with specialist expertise in scalp and hair disorders. Treatment decisions are based on clinical diagnosis rather than a fixed protocol, and the programme integrates the most evidence-supported regenerative technologies currently available. Our approach is medical in its foundation — addressing the pathological causes of hair loss, not solely its cosmetic presentation.
