This procedure effectively reduces wrinkles, tightens the skin, and restores a youthful look by gently lifting sagging skin. It’s an excellent choice for those wanting to address moderate sagging in areas like the cheeks, jawline, and neck, with minimal downtime and lasting results.

Thread lifts are a non-surgical treatment designed to lift sagging skin and enhance facial contours.

Benefits & Indications
Lift sagging facial skin: Targets problem areas like the cheeks, jawline, and neck, effectively reducing sagging.
Improve skin quality and texture: Tightens the skin while enhancing overall texture, helping to reduce visible signs of ageing.
Stimulate collagen production: The threads used in the treatment encourage natural collagen production, resulting in firmer, more elastic skin.
Non-surgical alternative: A subtle yet noticeable lift without the need for surgery, offering natural-looking results.
Personalised treatment: Each thread lift is tailored to the individual’s unique face shape to deliver the best possible outcome.
Minimal downtime: Most patients can return to their daily routine right after the procedure, with little to no discomfort.
How Long Does a Treatment Take?
A thread lift treatment takes up to 30 minutes. Prior to the thread lift treatment we apply a local anaesthetic to numb the area.
How Long Do Results Last?
Results can last up to 18 months. Many patients experience ongoing improvement as the skin continues to produce more collagen, leading to longer-lasting effects.
Aftercare
For best thread lift results and recovery, follow these aftercare instructions:
Swelling, bruising and mild itching at the injection site is normal and will subside within a few days.
Do not massage the treated area, use saunas or strenuous activities for at least one week after the treatment.
Do not drink alcohol and smoke for 2-3 days after treatment to allow the skin to heal.
Keep the treated area away from sun to prevent irritation.

The staff was welcoming, and the therapist was knowledgeable and attentive. The clinic is clean and modern, and I am very pleased with my treatment results. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience here at Dr Jinah Yoo! I had the ‘brightening’ treatment after having too much sunburn on my summer vacation, and it really helped. The process was very enjoyable thanks to the skillful and gentle practitioner. I will come back in the future if I have any needs for skin improvements!
A perfect experience! I had the Dermal Tightening Programme which is for lift up. The therapist is very professional and the environment is also very helpful for relaxing. Nice location as well.
Absolutely love the place. Had some moles removed from my face by Dr Yoo. A week later there is not the slightest indication that there was ever even anything there. Results are incredible.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Thread Lift FAQ’s
Thread Lift vs Surgical Facelift
A surgical facelift removes excess skin, while a thread lift procedure works by using threads to lift and support the underlying tissue. It’s minimally invasive, offers similar results with much less recovery time, and eliminates the risks associated with facelift surgery.
What are the different types of thread lift materials and how?
There are different types of threads used in thread lifting depending on the outcome.
Here are the three most common types:
PDO (Polydioxanone): These threads, used in PDO thread lift, help tighten the skin by stimulating collagen production. PDO threads are absorbed by the body over time, making them ideal for those seeking natural-looking, temporary results.
PLLA (Poly-L-Lactic Acid): Commonly used in Silhouette Soft thread lifts, these threads are designed to stimulate collagen production over an extended period and are gradually absorbed by the body. Silhouette Soft threads provide an immediate lift while also promoting long-term skin rejuvenation. This dual-action makes the Silhouette Soft thread lift an excellent option for those seeking both instant and lasting effects, resulting in firmer, more youthful skin that continues to improve for months after the treatment.
PCL (Polycaprolactone): Longer lasting than PDO or PLLA and provides extended support.
Non-absorbable Threads: Not absorbed by the body and provide long-term structural support.
What are the types of thread lift available in the market?
There are several types of thread lift available, classified by the shape and texture of the threads:
Mono Threads: These are smooth threads that stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin, but they do not provide a lifting effect.
Cog Threads: These threads have barbs that anchor into the skin, creating a visible lift, making them ideal for sagging areas.
Screw Threads: Twisted threads designed to restore volume and provide a subtle lift to the skin.
Double Screw Threads: Two intertwined threads that enhance volume restoration, perfect for areas with significant volume loss.
How does a thread lift help to tighten the skin?
A thread lift works by inserting threads under the skin and then pull the threads to lift and tighten the skin. This gives immediate lift and stimulates collagen production over time.
Can thread lift be combined with other skin treatments?
Yes, thread lift can be combined with dermal fillers or anti-wrinkle injections to further enhance the results. Combining treatments gives a more comprehensive approach to facial rejuvenation, addressing not only skin laxity but also volume loss and fine lines. If you want to improve overall skin quality, additional treatments can maximise the benefits of thread lift.
