Skin and muscle, in one treatment.
EMFACE is a non-invasive facial treatment developed by BTL. Unlike treatments that focus solely on the surface of the skin, EMFACE works across both the skin and muscular layers of the face. Specialised applicators deliver Synchronised RF and HIFES® energy simultaneously, stimulating the skin while inducing controlled contractions within selected facial muscles.
Facial ageing is influenced not only by changes within the skin, but also by changes in the deeper structures that support it. By strengthening selected facial muscles while stimulating collagen and elastin within the skin, EMFACE can help improve facial definition, firmness and the appearance of fine lines, without injections or surgery.
How EMFACE® works

EMFACE combines two technologies that operate simultaneously during treatment.
Controlled RF energy gently heats the dermal tissue, stimulating processes involved in the production and remodelling of collagen and elastin. This can help improve skin firmness, elasticity and overall texture while softening the appearance of fine lines.
HIFES® stands for High-Intensity Facial Electrical Stimulation. The technology selectively activates specific facial muscles through repeated contractions. These muscles contribute to facial support and positioning, particularly through the forehead and mid-face.
The defining feature of EMFACE is that RF and HIFES® are delivered together rather than as separate treatments. This allows the treatment to address both the quality of the skin and the muscular foundation beneath it, supporting a more comprehensive approach to facial lifting and rejuvenation.

The visible signs of ageing rarely result from a single anatomical change. Skin becomes less elastic, collagen production declines and the deeper structures of the face also change over time.
